On our road trip from Durban to Cape Town we stopped for a weekend in Gansbaai to have a closer look on the Great White Sharks. Knowing cage dive trips is quite different from scuba diving with small groups of experienced divers, we were not sure what to expect. The visibility was quite poor, but there were lots of sharks around! Even though it can’t compare to seeing it freely in the clear waters of Aliwal, it was really fascinating and cool to see them going for the bait close to the boat.
