What better way to celebrate Shark week than spend it cage diving with White Sharks at Guadalupe Island Mexico. It is one of the best locations to see Great Whites because of the incredible visibility and the number of sharks. After spending around 15 hours underwater photographing the sharks from the relative safety of the cage I decided to get up close and personal by putting my Gopro out in the open water. Out of the more than 20 sharks that frequented our cage two of them consistently out-smarted us by sneaking up and grabbing the fish that we used to scent the water before we could pull it away. We were not feeding them but these two managed to get away with a couple of snacks. It was one of these sharks that also grabbed my Gopro rig and took off.
