Circus Lions Attack on Trainer

There have been numerous reports about the accidents where circus animals, especially the vicious ones are found attacking on their very trainers. In this video again, here we have not one, not two, a whole bunch of giant male lions inside the ring and among those, two of them seem really bothered about human presence. The circus people should already drop the habit of caging and training animals like this, particularly, dangerous ones like the lion.

Lions attack on other animals for food or for establishing their superiority, we all know about that. The thing we might not be aware of so much is, lions attack themselves too, even within the Pride. It was not imaginary what we saw in The Lion King movie, it actually happens! In this video, we have a similar case, where a lioness in viciously attacked by the whole Pride, and left brutally injured to death and later gets eaten up by hyenas!

This is one heart-melting news follow-up story by ABC News, about a young intern at the California Cat Haven, who got mauled and killed by a human-raised caged male lion, Couscous. The intern who was attacked and killed by the big fierce cat was indeed someone who loved to be around big cats, for years. Here we can also see what her grieving father has to say about the whole tragedy. The unfortunate young woman thought Couscous had become her friend, and that is why she had the confidence to step inside its cage, but she was wrong!

This lion we are talking about does not seem to be that much interested in a career in modelling. If it was so, it would not have messed with the very lady it was being photographed with. Well, the lady was not the only one who got a piece of the lion’s mind during this photo shoot; a couple of other production associates also are in that list. It is obvious that a lion would not behave like a “kitty cat” amidst strange people, no matter how well-trained and sober it is with the trainer!

MGM and the Lion are just inseparable! In this one of its kind video captured by a visitor in the famous MGM Grand in Las Vegas, the legendary lion which has been literally the “roaring face” of the brand for decades, shows its magnificence by attacking a trainer, during a show. Two Leopards Fight over an Impala

In this video, two male leopards, probably siblings, are seen fighting quite viciously with each other over a kill, an impala. At the beginning, one of them is seen having the kill and trying to store it up in the tree, as high from the ground as possible, which is a common thing leopards do. Up in there, the other one was waiting, and these two are caught in tape fighting and falling down together. Watch who won it after all!

This news story from an English news channel in China tells the breathtaking experience of one Chinese photographer, who spent months in the hostile weather in the mountains to capture a snow leopard. Well, leopards get hungry; it is natural. If they see a warthog nearby, they will try to mitigate that hunger; it is also natural. Here is the thing that we learned from The Lion King, the movie; or to be specific, from Timon and Pumba, the follow-up series from that legendary movie, that even the deadliests of the beasts in the nature think twice before attacking a warthog, like Pumba. It is simply because, they are too hard to get grounded. This leopard seems to be an ignorant one since it attempted to bag in three of those!

To be precise, there is not that much of an equal fight going on between the two mentioned in the title. This is one scene caught on tape by the Campbell-Harris family, where they first spotted a black-skinned python, lying in the sand nearby the river. Later on, they also found a leopard passing by, and stopping by the python. It was certainly interested, or threatened may be, who knows! This is a video from Latest Sightings, where a leopard, up in the tree is seen trying to get its claws on a vervet monkey, in fact a young one. Both of the animals were up there and the leopard, in attempt to get the baby monkey, and eventually they both fell down since the thin tree could not take the pressure. Even after the fall down to the ground, the monkey had no luck in favor, it eventually ended up as a lunch item to the leopard, sadly!

The female leopard, raised and cared in a Zimbabwean Game Park, always was in close human contact. Like all the other animals in that park, this leopard has been one purring little kitty to most people there. It even never had to hunt for food, it was served to her. All this features about the female leopard assured the TV show producer and his crew, willing to film a documentary exclusively on this leopard, to go near her without any fences or any other protectors. The cameraman of this video might have underestimated the leopard by ignoring its privacy, especially while eating. Cheetah brothers are caught on tape opting for lechwe, and then attacking the lechwe. Hunting lechwe or such antelopes are particularly hard for cheetahs because of their dangerous horns and their sizes. That is why, many cheetahs get hurt or even killed while trying to kill any large antelope or lechwe of this kind. In this BBC Worldwide video, a cheetah is hunting for a baby gazelle, which is obviously a very vulnerable and easy target compared to the adult ones. All these are done in front of the cheetah cub, apparently for whom the hunt was done. The mother cheetah also cuts flesh from the fresh kill to make it easier for the little one to eat. Motherhood in nature, it is ironic always, just like killing one’s baby to feed another!

Visitors at a Kenyan safari at Masai Mara witnessed a true picture of African wild, while they could manage to tape a cheetah searching for a prey. It surely found one soon and attacked it as well. This video proves how amazing of an experience the visitors might have had while watching something so natural, from the very scratch of the whole procedure! An experience to remember indeed.

Two cheetahs are caught on tape attacking a reedbuck together. The scene was captured from a safari tour. One of the cheetahs later gets chased by a bigger male reedbuck as a penalty for killing the other one. This is one interesting and natural video of wildlife where it is seen that hunting is not really an easy task for even great predators like cheetahs.

In this video two cheetahs are caught in tape hunting down a grey jackal. They are seen to set their eyes on the jackal for a long time and then one cheetah charges and tries to chase the jackal down. This is how cheetahs generally hunt for food. It is quite unusual for them to go for any hunt that may feed the whole family alone.

Wild watchers manage to tape a cheetah in hunt of a rabbit from their jeep. The cheetah is so attentive to get the prey that it does not even bother to pay attention to anything else, even to a jeep full of larger meatballs! This is one tragic video from Nat Geo Wild. One female cheetah gets a number of lustful suitors who would rip her apart to satisfy their need. To hide from this sure death, she chooses another deadly place. The bushes she hides in is nothing but closer to a lion pride with cubs where two male lions were in charge that day. The poor cheetah tried to escape but got mauled by her fellow male cheetahs. They left her injured which made her an easy target for the lions to attack and kill her since they thought her to be a threat to their cubs.

Cheetahs have a very strong sense of family bonding. It noticeable mostly in mother cheetahs with cubs and male cheetahs of same age, particularly brothers. In this video from National Geographic Channel, a mother cheetah is seen calling her young adult male children, who went for hunting without her. The brothers’ duo have a great bond and that is why they try to bring down a gemsbok cub, but the mother rescues her junior.

Cheetahs attacking other animals for a meal is a pure natural thing! This time, this cheetah is in its natural form and this time the target is a gnu which is a kind of African bison. Gnus are common preys for cheetahs and lions, but the predators may often get crushed by their feet when they are moving with the whole herd. Nothing like that happens in this video though, the natural predator got its prey!

In this clip from Animal Planet’s Wild Kingdom, a cheetah is seen attacking a gazelle on its own, which cheetahs do not usually do when they are alone. The cheetah took the risk since the gazelle was distracted but could realize it was a mistake soon. The cheetah cubs came to help but tackling a gazelle which is taller and has those sturdy horns, is no easy thing to do!

In this video, the man talking is an experienced one in handling cheetahs for more than 20 years. He was asked to helped the locals in a Kenyan place to capture a female wild cheetah who keeps visiting them. The man tried to do that gently, but this cheetah could not guess his background and got engaged in a fight with one of his local assistants. While letting him free from the cheetah, the cheetah man himself got scratches! Moreover, there lies a risk of rabies from such an unfamiliar visitor!

The fast and furious animal is a piece of art indeed, even while it is chasing and attacking a gazelle for lunch! Just imagine what could have happened if a human being comes near just at the lunchtime of any cheetah! However it may happen, but running for life will not at least help in this case!
